Palos Studios Weddings :: My 2nd shooter images

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of meeting the fabulous and awesome Erin and Louis Palos, owners of Palos Studios in Claremont...and was honored to be asked to do some 2nd shooting for them! Erin was the main shooter at both of these weddings, she is truly a sweetheart and an amazing photographer as well! These are just a small handful of images, it was so hard to choose just a few!

Allison & Rick had their wedding ceremony and reception at the beautiful Padua Hills Theatre in Claremont.








Jennifer & Stanley were married in her beautiful back yard in Chino, followed by a traditional Chinese banquet at a seafood restaurant in Arcadia.

Kozak/Evans Family :: Family Portraits

I love it when I get the chance to work with clients more than once, it's like being able to document the different phases of their lives. I first met Lisa when I photographed the baby shower her friends threw for her and baby Dean, then I took baby and family photos of Lisa, her husband Chris, and baby Dean and big brother Dillon. I was honored when Chris' mother, Rosanne, contacted me to take some "extended" family portraits! She and her husband Don were in town from Oregon, and Chris' brother Jason and his wife Sarah and son Marek were visiting from St. Louis. They chose a great time for a visit to Orange County, the weather was extraordinarily warm, and we got some great shots!

Baby Jordan :: 1st Birthday

Our good friends Brian and Jen threw a fun birthday party for their youngest son, Jordan's first birthday! I think Jordan might be the most mellow, chill one-year old I've ever met! He was so good the whole day, and he ate that birthday cake like he was born to do it! Happy Birthday Jordo, thanks for letting us celebrate with you!

Amanda F :: Boudoir

Amanda found me thru her bestie and make up artist Tiffany Georskey of Make Up Your Event. She wanted to do a hot boudoir shoot for her hubby as a birthday present, and I think we accomplished that! She was inspired by the shots Khloe Kardashian created for Lamar, with bathtub full of candy....you'd be surprised how many gumballs it takes to fill a tub....and we didn't even come close!

Baby Dean :: Family Portraits

Remember this adorable shower? Well, Baby Dean has joined the world, and he is too adorable for words!! I was honored when mom Lisa asked me to take some pictures of the new arrival, who wasn't quite so new by the time we were able to get something scheduled. He and big brother Dillon were so well-behaved that day, given that they were pretty pooped from a week-long family wedding! And I love how coordinated the outfits are...Mom had on some amazing Christian Louboutins!

Note: The first 3 images were taken when I went back to visit Dean 2 weeks later....can you believe how much he's grown?!!

Just Sophie :: Personal

Today I found this image of our 2nd dog, Sophie, on my hard drive, in a folder I haven't looked at in months. She is standing on our patio at our Texas house....the weather looks similar here in Orange County today. Sophie is a funny dog....she will always let me take her picture, while Jack, on the other hand, will bury his head or turn away every. single. time. He has some sort of 6th sense about the camera, I swear, even my iPhone camera! We miss that house and our TX friends, but are enjoying life in SOCAL again!

Ken & Laura :: Anniversary Party

This party was AH-MAZ-ING!! My friend Melissa, her husband, and her siblings helped plan a surprised 30th Anniversary party for Melissa's parents, and it went off without a hitch! No details were left out....there was a vow renewal, bar, cake, food, and even a candy buffet, in coordinating colors, of course!! Ken and Laura had NO idea the party was for them, they thought we were meeting to do some family pictures, and they were shocked to see their closest family and friends waiting for them when they walked through the door! It was truly an honor for me to witness it all! Congrats to Ken and Laura!!!
