It's College Football Season!!!

Ahhh...my FAVORITE time of the year...this weekend is the start of the college football season! Growing up in the midwest, I remember watching football pretty much every weekend of my life....I graduated from the University of Iowa, and was a Hawkeye fan as a child...as all good Iowa children are raised to be....but later, I was converted, and became an ISU Cyclones fan! The Cyclones have been suffering lately, but did manage a strong win agains ND State (??) on Thursday nite...and thus begins our football snacking season!

This chex mix is one of our perennial favorites....I make it with Crispix, cheddar and pretzel goldfish, and cashews! Loved by humans AND dogs!!

Kendra & Cody :: Engagement

5 years in the making...and worth the wait for these 2 North Carolina lovebirds! Kendra is a friend of mine, and Cody is a former co-worker....I've been wanting to shoot their engagement pictures even before they were engaged....aren't they too cute? Hopefully I'll be shooting their destination wedding next May as well!

Ashley & Bobby :: Engagement

Ashley and Bobby had their engagement shoot this past Saturday in Downtown Fort Wort and the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens...which, by the way, is where Ashley made Bobby the happiest man in the world by accepting his proposal!! We started out there, and then headed downtown...Ashley and Bobby's dog Mr. Bojangles and Ashley's sister Amanda also got in on the fun!! Thanks for braving the heat (and ants!) guys!!! Can't wait for the wedding in October...hopefully it will be cooler!!

Kendra & Cody :: Engagement Party

Party Time! Excellent!! My friends Kendra and Cody are newly-engaged, and their friend Hollie threw them an awesome engagement party! Kendra's mom flew in from North Carolina to help them celebrate, and I was there to capture some fun candids! Congrats to the adorable couple!
